Special Treatment for Stress

When I tell people that I am a veterinary surgeon, they usually make two assumptions that are completely wrong.

First, they think I play with lovely puppies and cats all day, which means I have a great job. If only they knew that dealing with sick, dying animals and distressed angels all day isn't that great and seemingly going to pay out student loans for the rest

of my life, they might realize that being a vet isn't all cracked up to be. I spend four nights a week sleeping in an apartment above someone else's clinic to provide emergency coverage. I also work four shifts a full day and sometimes more if another vet is sick or on vacation.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound like I'm brave, and honestly, I'm not. I just wanted to explain why I am chronically single. I really don't have time to meet anyone, and even if I did, my work schedule would make it impossible to build a relationship. My night cover is really erratic and when I feel so lonely. I need to sleep, of course, but it's tough because I either can't sleep because I'm expecting an emergency call or, I finally managed to break down and then Either this or I have a patient who needs regular monitoring downstairs. So, I spend a lot of nights feeling a little nervous and bored. Last year, during a short summer vacation with some friends that I went to veterinary school with, we shared our stories of living as a real veterinarian in the real world.

Aside from a colleague of mine, who got a comfortable job in his father's clinic and married with a young child, we all had a chronic shortage of social Ben just got out and said he started using an escort service and that was the best thing since the bread was sliced as far as he was concerned. For him, I thought it was no different than getting a massage treatment. He was firmly believed to be a way to deal with work stress in a constructive and enjoyable way. The following Saturday night, I returned to my night shifts.

My clinic is located in a beautiful part of Munich.

Since I used to use the staff apartment on the top floor more than anyone else to spend the night, I made it home and comfortable. So, I thought it was time, I gave Ben's recommendation a chance.Ben suggested a top-secret escort service called Lily. He said he prefers them because they handled the reservations with high professionalism and made everything very easy. After arguing with myself for a few hours, I finally decided it wouldn't hurt to try. I checked the website and was totally impressed by the number of really cool women available for dates. It didn't take long to pick one that just looked like my two types.

It was kind of weird but i guess it is no different from the dating app except you don't have to wait for the risk of being rejected. She's already ready for your date, but there is no misunderstanding about who will hold the tab. Because I'm always a little confused, I can summon the energy to be nervous about the appointment even though I've never had it before.

What if the girl is not the same or what if she does not look like the woman in the pictures?

I went through all the "what if" in my mind, but reassured myself that Ben said he had no problems at all. I don't drink while at work, but I run home to get a bottle of wine, so at least I can make a drink for my appointment. Then I hopped in the shower to make myself neat and sat waiting.I went down to let her in, and she opened the door and the first thing I thought of was telling the woman at the door that she must She suddenly recognized her from the site, and she apologized as she looked so confused and invited her upstairs.

She had a slight accent, but she spoke fluent English. She (and sounded) like a Blonde girl to be honest. I told her about my job and told her that if an emergency call comes in, I may have to call the appointment short and not take any offense. She told me she loves animals and thought it was cool to go out on an adorable woman to help a sick puppy. She was only 2 years younger than me, so we had a lot in common and it was pretty much like any other first date. We got to know each other, we laughed a little and then started hanging out on the sofa. In the back of my head, I couldn't stop worrying about an emergency call, but it didn't take long for me to relax and totally enjoy.
